Brazilian Congress Reviews R$115 Million Special Budget Credit

On 28 October 2026, Brazil's National Congress advanced the review of budget proposal PLN 27/2026, which provides for R$115 million in special federal credit for the Ministries of Education, Justice and Public Security, and Health. The proposal was under consideration by the Joint Budget Committee, rather than being a confirmed new contract award.
