Portugal Records €67.65 Million Energy-Modernisation Programme for Criminal Police Buildings

On 3 November 2026, the European Modernisation Fund listed a €67.65 million Portuguese programme to improve energy performance across Polícia Judiciária buildings. The planned measures include photovoltaic generation, battery storage, electric-vehicle charging infrastructure and digital energy-management systems. The programme creates opportunities for renewable-energy contractors, electrical-equipment suppliers and energy-management technology providers.
